Spring is in Full Swing

It is SPRING!!! It rained almost all of last week and the sun has finally decided to say hello! The flowers are blooming, the grass is green and the colors are just gorgeous!! But, with the beauty of spring comes... ALLERGIES! :D David came home from work early yesterday and wasn't feeling good at all. So, as he has done in the past in pulling husbandtry, I pulled my rank as being wifey and made him take his meds, drink some orange juice, and at least hold and breathe in the aroma of some nice hot tea before he clonked out! He had a temperature and was shivering cold even though he was burning up. And my goodness was he gripey! He gave me a dose of my own medicine in being a difficult patient! So, he finally went to sleep! YAY Sleep! I got up for class this morning and I had the same symptoms my Dear Husband had the night before. I tried getting ready through it all and finally realized this was a morning when I needed to stay home, and good thing because I also had a temperature. David felt better and went to class today, and by the time he got home at around 3:30, I was feeling better too. Yay for medicine and sleep! Just what the doctor ordered! We've spent some time getting to talk about the next few months and are preparing each other in what to expect as the deployment gets closer and closer. Taco and Belle needed to go outside, so we decided to take advantage of the beautiful day and go on a walk around our pond, which is always relaxing!! It was lovely! I enjoy any chance I have at spending some good quality time with my best friend! It's been a wonderful day! :)

Many Changes..

So, it's been awhile since I posted. There have been some good changes and some not so good changes. I chopped off a lot of my hair and I love it, minus the maintenance and the ability to put it in a ponytail. We have signed our lease to our apartment and therefore will be staying here for a few more years at least! We're looking to paint and make our first place into more of a home! We got a couch cover that makes our living room look less like an assortment of various different styles of furniture and more like the way we're hoping to decorate it.

We also learned that David's deployment date has been pushed up and he is therefore leaving for training in a few months and then goes overseas after that. We've been planning for at least 10 months and learn quickly that we only have a few months left together. We're working to get all the planning and preparation done for this next year. We know that this is God's plan and can see the benefits and blessings of the deployment, we're both just trying to get ready and not let the negative take over so we can happily enjoy our time together. It's going to be hard, but we know we wouldn't be challenged with this if we couldn't do it. We also know that we have an amazing family and group of friends that will be there to support us as David is away and while I continue my education. It will all be just fine and will work out for the best! :)
